New truck shuts off after 20 min. not allowing us to have our dog in the truck with climate control on.

We have always traveled with our animals in our vehicles. This new truck doesn't allow us to do that because the truck shuts off after idling for 20 min. We can't have our climate control on if we leave our dog in the truck and that doesn't work. Every Chevrolet (for 40 yrs.) that I have had would allow me to feel my dog was safe in our vehicle, if we stopped somewhere.

User's recommendation: If you travel with animals, check into this if your buying a new vehicle.

Transmission

I have a 2019 Silverado I bought new. I have complained several times to my dealership about the transmission slipping. This is something Ive come to find out several Chevy owners are or have experienced. Dealership has worked on it once and now I believe its gotten worst. When you tell them they talk like its no big deal but it is a big deal I bought this new truck and it shouldnt have transmission trouble already. A simple search on the internet you see probably millions of people experiencing the same issue. I want my new truck to running like a new truck that not to much to ask. Chevrolet needs to own up to having a problem and fix it!

ZYea still on backorder! Also dont know when the grill will come off backorder! Talked to Chevrolet they do t really give a damn!

User's recommendation: Don’t buy a brand new truck from chevy won’t be able to get oil change or nothing.

Happy with results

I contacted the Chevrolet company about a fob I had lost. I worked with a young man named Daniel and about over a week time he offer to help me buy sending me a $ 100.00 voucher to use towards a new one. The reason this is so nice is that I am the one who lost the fob and they could of say they were not going to help. I believe this shows why my family continue to pay cars from this company. They really do care. Like Thanks Chevrolet and Daniel!!!!Clapping

User's recommendation: Try to deal with companies that care and show they are not to big to help when you have an issue.

Motor problem

top end of engine rebuilt at Mandal Auto Group GM dealer $5,400.00 400 miles later repair failed ruined engine I was 447 miles from where first repair was done original dealer said the repair was warrantied for one year at any GM dealer second GM dealer said the work was not done right NO GM warrantee applied according to GM 0 help from GM,GM dealers Had to trade truck I was stranded 700 miles from home I submitted photo of bad part and bill related to bad workmanship no help from anyone Cost me $10,000 in truck value, car rental and hotel stay 10 days until I could move on GM dealer warrantee is CRAP any questions call me 816 548 ****

Complaint ( Bad Service at GM Egypt )

Dear Sir or Madam: My name : MOHAMED EZZAT ELSHARAWY My Occupation : Planning Manager at BOSTIK ( part of TOTAL Company) Nationality : Egyptian As the nature of my job need to move from one place to another , so I was selected CHEVROLET because it is recognized afford to fill hard. Buying a CHEVROLET CRUIZE has been at January 2010 and when I buy them I received many calls warn me of this car , but my confidence CHEVROLET make sure that the company maintains a global reputation in the markets , therefore retained by car. Last Wednesday 27-5-2015 , the car was handed over the authorized agent for the necessary maintenance of 160000km , change all the car carrier oils and check on all functions of the drive They called me in the same day and told me that maintenance has ended and the cost 4,000 EGP , but due to my work circumstances I has been receiving the car on Sunday 31-5-2015. After receipt of the car I noticed it does not work efficiently and after 3 days check engine lamp turned on and gearbox does not work , contacted the competent engineer asked me to bring it , after examination he said that gearbox does not work and must be changed and that is cost 60,000 EGP (notice :I did not complain before from gearbox and engine lamp were not illuminated) So I have some questions: If the gearbox had some troubles why it does not appear in five years? Why the check engine lamp did not light before? Why this problem appeared after 2 days from the maintenance? Why notes are not written about this problem when I receive the car? Why the test car was did not notice this defect after maintenance? After discussion with the agent he said that all he can do is to discount 75% and I must pay 15,000 EGP I refused this order as I am not a part of this problem as the car sound delivery N.B. All the maintenances of this car are put on the agent (every 5000km) till the guarantee finished and last maintenance at 118,000 Kilometer and 110,000 Kilometer Please respond as quickly as possible because the car was in the agent and I depend on it for my work
