Important matter

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
From the day I drove my chevy traverse off of the lot I could tell that I was not going to like it. My salesmen said that even though I gave him $2500.00 down on a vehicle. It wasn't enough to put me into a truck that I wanted because my credit score was 545 at the time, and that's the other thing. Now that I look over my paperwork. I have him $2500.00, but it only shows that I have him $2000.00. I guess that's why he doesn't work at Freedom chevy buick gmc anymore. The second day I was driving the vehicle on the frwy doing 70 miles and then the vehicle just shut off on us. I had to put on my hazard lights and make it over to the emergency lane. I spent the next two weeks in a rental. When I got my vehicle back, after about a week, it was the same thing. The lights on the dash went all over the place and then it shut down. Back in a rental I went. After about a month and a half of rentals then I get my vehicle back. It is hard to get up speed while getting on the frwy. One day I was pulling out of my driveway and I stopped to put my seat belt on while the vehicle was in drive. I took my foot off of the brakes and the vehicle kept rolling back and almost hit the house. I had to slam on the brakes. Then the same thing happen at a stop light on a hill, I took my foot off of the brakes long enough to put them on the gas but because of the slope, I had to have one foot on the gas and one foot in the brakes..... this don't make any sense. I didn't buy this kind of car to act like I was driving a stick shift. I just had to replace the power steering pump. Now here we are. I am driving down the street and your telling me that when some *** decides to slam on his brakes, I slam on my brakes but my vehicle don't stop like it supposed to. Instead it slides into the vehicle in front of me, pushing it under the light. My daughter hurts her arm, I hit my head on the steering wheel because the air bags didn't deploy, both of my knees are killing me. It's hard for me to bend down, let alone get down on the ground and get back up. And you are telling me that the most that you are seeking to do is to pay my $1000.00 Co pay.... are you****?,****** kidding me right now....... You have printed out more articles talking about how that chevy traverse is the worst vehicle that you all made and you all would that care of my $1000.00 ****(*co-pay.***.I could barley stand up but$don't worry about your$1000.00 co pay even though I don't have a vehicle because your salesman screwed me by taking out the gap policy so I still have to pay $6000.00 before I could get another vehicle but hey.... don't worry, we got you on you deductible...

We own a 2011 Chevy Silverado. Recently there was a problem with the taillight on the left side of the truck.

Upon removal of the taillight, it was noted that the metal behind the taillight was totally rusted out. Im being told that this is because it was not painted or sprayed with a thick enough coat of protectant. This was our first Chevrolet truck after switching from Ford. It has been very disheartening to find that the truck, although it drives great and has a good strong motor is rusting due to the metal behind the taillight assembly not being covered well enough with a rust inhibitor prior to painting.

I have pics. After we saw the rusted out left side we removed the light assembly on the right side and found the same thing.

We were looking at purchasing the RST but I am thinking if we do, well need to have the taillight assembly removed prior to purchase to see if it has already started to rust while sitting on the dealership lots. After all, thats a lot of money to pay for a vehicle that is rusting before you drive it off the lot.

Case # 959********

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Hello my name is Adriana, I own a 2013 Chevy Cruze with the vin # 1G1PC5SBXD719****. I have talked to a representative that gave me the case number 959********. I am wondering if my case is being looked into, as I have not received a call for the status of my vehicle. The problem I am having is that my car overheated and it wont turn on. It left me on the side of the road. Its having the same problems that Rotolo dealer in Fontana fixed two years ago. I called Chevy roadside assistance and the towing company they sent, transported my vehicle to the wrong dealer. Somewhere in San Bernardino, Ca. Now that dealer doesnt want to transfer my car to Rotolo, unless I pay for the diagnosis. I was not aware it was in the wrong dealer because I trusted the roadside assistance to take my vehicle to the address I provided them. The second problem is that the vehicle needs a new engine. The new engine shouldnt have stopped working after two years. This problem is also putting my family in danger, Im pregnant and have two toddlers that shouldnt be at risk in a faulty vehicle. I trusted that I bought a safe car and that has not been the case. My fiancé is loosing money by not being able to make it to work and that doesnt include all the money in repairs that I have already lost. I had previously bought a 2012 Chevy Cruze and the dealer had done a buyback because it had faulty breaks, which is more money lost including the down payment I gave and all the monthly payments. Now this car I have problems with it too and its already payed off without a single late payment. GM wants to charge me even more for their continued mistakes. I dont know whether to pursue the lemon law or what other route to take. It has been two weeks without an update or resolution. The dealer now wants to charge me storage fees for your delay. Its not fair that I put all this money and trust in a company that continues to fail me! Thank you, Adriana I

2020 HD3500 ISSUES! with 2620 miles

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Ladies and Gentlemen, I bought the truck with one main specific reason, to haul a slide in camper. Initially I loved the truck, but as I started to prep the truck to haul my camper, I quickly realized how poorly thought out the engineering of this truck is.

In order to tow a fifth wheel camper or haul a slide in camper the tailgate needs to be removed. Upon removing the tailgate all the cameras on the truck are rendered in-operable. Before buying the truck I was impressed seeing many TV commercials saying what an incredibly sophisticated camera system they have now in 2020. My cameras pull up a black screen with a error on it and nothing works with any cameras?

My dealer has now told me I more than likely will damage the whole system because the weather and elements will destroy the open wiring, because I have removed my tailgate, when the truck should have been designed to have the tailgate removed. Dealer has also said as far as they know there is no fix coming for this and I will have to live with it? My second issue is, once the truck it is parked for a while will start to flash the trailer taillights every ten seconds. This is part of the theft deterrent device programmed into the trailer wiring.

So it can detect if the trailer has been stolen and will sound the alarm! LOL So I'm going camping and going to sit and watch my taillights flash every ten sec. all weekend? GM is calling this a feature, and I will call it what it really is and that's torture.

The truck is the biggest 80+ thousand dollar mistake I have ever made in my life. The truck was released last Sept. and it is almost May. I started in early March inquiring for help at my local dealership.

No one ever got back with me? I'm sick to my stomach over the amount of money I have spent to get the truck to this point and knowing I will have to start over with a new brand soon. I ask now and all I get is excuses revolving around the virus? If these two issues can't be addressed I don't want the truck anymore and will never buy another GM product in my life.

GM has let me down and so has the local dealer. I have bought 2 new trucks from GM in last 2 years over $160,000.00 and planned on ordering a new C8 mid engine Z06 Corvette, and I'm a GM stock holder.

I'm asking for someone to reach out to me let me know they are aware of the issues and they are working them out and a fix is in the works for both of these issues. If these two issues cant be fixed the truck is a complete fail and I don't want it anymore!

2014 Chevy Traverse engine blows
The purchase of this SUV was record-breaking in that it was my first SUV and the newest vehicle I had ever owned.
Within a year and a half I learned that GM believes that the engines in their vehicles can only be expected to last 5 years and that it is too bad, so sad that the engine in my vehicle stopped working.
Anyone I spoke to found it inconceivable that a properly serviced vehicle would need to have the engine replaced at less than 0142100K miles.
GM believes that since I did not have one of their dealers handle the repairs for my vehicles, there is nothing they can do as only their dealership can accurately diagnosis the cause of the engine failure and due to the age of the vehicle (barely 6 years old) it is solely my responsibility.
The non-GM explanation as to the cause of the engine needing to be replaced was that the number one cylinder had grenaded damaging the electrode on spark plug.

2009 Yukon 5.3 motor junk after 129000 miles had to put a new motor in it

I have a 2008 Malibu front head light bulb needs replaced you have to take the front bumper off to change it

2005 Chevy suburban bulletproof 290000 miles Everything pretty much original on it I had it since 97,000 miles just regular upkeep

2002 GMC Sierra 2500 HD bullet proof 210,000 miles No issues

Just seems like the newer Chevys are Junk would not recommend buying stick with Toyota or Nissan

the last Nissan I had was 1985 pick up truck I put 350,000 miles On it plus no problems

The new engineers for Chevy that come up and design these vehicles are idiots

we need to all get together and open up a go fund me page to get them all fixed, so they cant reproduce and if they did manage to figure out how to reproduce any offspring get them fixed so they cant reproduce it would make the World a lot better place

I will never buy Chevy again I will make sure my kids and their kids never buy Chevy's again

Never again

2016 Chevy Trax. The catalytic convertor not even 3 years old goes bad. They do replace it because by state law it is under warranty. While replacing a rotted flex pipe is broken. Why does a 3 year old car have a rotted pipe. Where is this steel from????? Anyway this is not chevy's problem now it is mine. They refuse to replace the pipe they broke putting in converter. So I am suppose to go to a muffler shop and handle MY problem. Customer Service Where.? What are these cars made with?

We are TX Licensed GDN dealers. I went to Young Chevrolet on 9301 ERL Thorton fwy, dallas TX 75228 to cut a key for one of our cars. The customer service office told me that they need the car registration to cut keys, I told him that dealership do not register cars and he should permit me to speak to a supervisor to explain. The supervisor Ray kept me waiting for a long time whilst attending to customers that came after me, I had to call his attention twice, when he came, he was so rude, unfriendly and mannerless. Such officer should not represent Chevrolet atall. I had the title, ID and my dealership license and all dealership documents.

1) Called my service adviser (Robert) on 11/14 at 8 AM to set an appt. Got voicemail and left a detailed message. NO CALL BACK. 2) On 11/19 at 7:30 I called the main switchboard and requested to speak to a supervisor. Left a message with the operator but she did not relay the bosses name so I do not know who was supposed to call me back. Doesn't matter cause nobody did. 3) Called the switchboard at 9:30 this morning 11/15. Told her that I would be filing a complaint with GM corporate if nobody calls me back. NOBODY DID.

2016 Chevy Malibu

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My 2016 Chevy Malibu has 93,000 miles on it. No issues until this day. Last week I was driving it in a neighborhood about 40 miles from my home. When I got to the neighborhood I had to apply my brakes. The breaks were locked at top of the pedal. I was unable to stop. Scared the *** out of me! Dropped the people off. Drove 3 blocks to a 7 11, scared to drive any further. Parked and the car died and would not start. Waiting 3 hours for the tow truck, finally got the CHEVY MALIBU and myself home a 5am. Had a mobile mechanic run a diagnostic on it. Multiple issues came up. Everything from multiple breaks issues and even more engine issues. Tried several tricks to remove what seemed to be air in the break lines. No chance. Had to towed to a Chevy dealership near by. Break tech ran a diagnostic, said not breaks it’s an engine issue. Engine tech says it “maybe” timing or cam shaft. $2500 on a maybe, best they can tell from the diagnostic. From all the reviews I have read about this very same issue and the guessing game at owners expense. None of these have fixed the issues. While reading the reviews, I read 3 people have died from this very same issue. In addition GM has remove any and all warranty on this vehicle above the 36,000 miles. GM will not take any responsibility for the CHEVY MALIBU death trap which they are fully aware of. No recall, No repair support for the dealership that now is involved with this worthless product. My question for GM IS HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE THEY WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT? I say to the CEO OF GM. I want one of your family members to have my car as there daily drive. But wait the engine will not even turn over. Nothing but a paperweight now. To all head honchos at GM I have large car parts the need to be placed were the sun don’t shine. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PRODUCT!!! I will inform every website, social media and any forum possible about your products and your complete lack of ethics.

SHOULD BE A RECALL!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Good day! I have a 2016 Chevy Malibu and my daughter has a 2017 same model. Within the first 2 months of purchase I find it really strange that both of us have had to have the gas pedal replaced due to a sensor malfunction (Purchased cars at different dealers one under warranty one not). Surprised that the one NOT under warranty has the same exact issue one year later! Go figure! I have always purchased Dodges but decided to give Chevy a try-what a huge mistake ESPECIALLY since seeing the number of individuals with the same issue and Chevy is NOT offering recalls! #SHAMEONCHEVY!
