Failed Chevy Equinox

I had a 2014 Chevy Equinox, with the 4 cylinder 2.4 l engine. It consumed massive amounts of oil. Also the PVC port caused a blown rear main seal twice. After the second time I just sold the car as junk. Chevy is aware of both of these issues and seemingly doesnt care. Doesnt say a lot for American made.

I'm with you on that. My Chevy chunk of junk is a 2016 Traverse.

It's sad when you try to buy American made products and they don't stand behind their name. I have had a $27,,000.00 yard ornament since June 3 days after my father passed!

No longer have a job as had to ask for rides. Will never support Chevrolet again.

It was liking talking to a service advisor absolutely no help just make an appointment at a local dealer for diagnosis.

Fighting over reimbursement for warranty reimbursement. 45,000 miles motor blew

Long story short. Stranded 5 days. Rental car to get home (750 Miles) . 2 weeks later returned to get 2019 Silverado. Won't reimburse any gas because don't have original receipts. Have credit card documentation showing pump purchase. Even though didn't get hotel 2 nights and only asked for 2 meals in 7 days having to fight for money. Sent letter to CEO and same response!!!

User's recommendation: Don't purchase Silverado. If you have ANY warranty done get original receipts.

Delay in return calls and my trucks been in dealer for 3 months

Problem with shift to park not engaging and won't turn off

Extended warranty

I have a 2011 Chevy Malibu that has an extended warranty for ESC 150,000 miles or 10 years I exceeded by the 10 years with 118,000 miles on my car now I thought you guys would honor the warranty since I was under 150,000 miles I have four Chevys on my car insurance I guess I need to look into buying other than Chevy from now on out thank you for wasting my time.
