Displicable service

We are TX Licensed GDN dealers. I went to Young Chevrolet on 9301 ERL Thorton fwy, dallas TX 75228 to cut a key for one of our cars. The customer service office told me that they need the car registration to cut keys, I told him that dealership do not register cars and he should permit me to speak to a supervisor to explain. The supervisor Ray kept me waiting for a long time whilst attending to customers that came after me, I had to call his attention twice, when he came, he was so rude, unfriendly and mannerless. Such officer should not represent Chevrolet atall. I had the title, ID and my dealership license and all dealership documents.

Don't buy

why would GM Build a vehicle that goes into limp mode at the slightest problem? This is actually very dangerous especially when driving many miles away from services and sometimes out of cell phone range. Very poor design

Stay away from Midway Chevrolet

1) Called my service adviser (Robert) on 11/14 at 8 AM to set an appt. Got voicemail and left a detailed message. NO CALL BACK. 2) On 11/19 at 7:30 I called the main switchboard and requested to speak to a supervisor. Left a message with the operator but she did not relay the bosses name so I do not know who was supposed to call me back. Doesn't matter cause nobody did. 3) Called the switchboard at 9:30 this morning 11/15. Told her that I would be filing a complaint with GM corporate if nobody calls me back. NOBODY DID.

What i meant to say was there was no cover for the license plate light.

Worst after market experience ever. Hello Folk's so bought a used 2009 Chevrolet cobalt from this dealership. They said it had no accident record (false) it has been in a accident, how do i know because i took it to a body shop and they said it had been in a accident. They gave me (2) key less entry remote's and neither one worked yes i tried new batteries but also discovered that diode's were rusted. (3) upon further inspection today found out there was no cover for the license plate light. Also had the cabin air filter replaced today it was disgusting looked like it was never changed.. Come on Folk's do you really perform the 100 points of light service check's.I would say NO! P.S Not coming back to this Dealership

Wiring electrical

We bought a brand new 2016 Chevy Trax and pretty much from the beginning we have had nothing but problems with the wiring we've had our if you be in there three or four times now they put a brand new harness under the dash and it seems like soon as I do something something else goes wrong with the electrical we was driving it the other day we just picked it up from the garage on Thursday and the next day on Friday all of our dash lights went dim the radio blared up as high as it would go so they've got it back in the garage here we go again but all they want to do is just keep fixing it I don't think so I will never buy from Chevy again

The Chevrolet Trax and Buick Encore are based on older Korean (Daewoo) designs. These vehicles don't have a terribly good track record for reliability. A superior alternative in a CUV would be a Honda CRV or Toyota RAV.

Broken inside door handle.

I was never informed of any of the multiple recalls for my vehicle. 2007 Chevy HHR. I was contacted about the ignition and it was replaced. The odd thing is before I was told about the recall both my poms quit working, not completely though. Just locking and unlocking. I can still set off the alert. My thoughts are when the ignition was replaced the poms should have been issued along with it. I am on disability, mini strokes. Now my inside door opening handle broke about six weeks ago. I have to roll down my window and with my bad arm reach out the window and open the door, very hard for me because I can't use my left arm very well at all

2016 Chevy Malibu

My 2016 Chevy Malibu has 93,000 miles on it. No issues until this day. Last week I was driving it in a neighborhood about 40 miles from my home. When I got to the neighborhood I had to apply my brakes. The breaks were locked at top of the pedal. I was unable to stop. Scared the *** out of me! Dropped the people off. Drove 3 blocks to a 7 11, scared to drive any further. Parked and the car died and would not start. Waiting 3 hours for the tow truck, finally got the CHEVY MALIBU and myself home a 5am. Had a mobile mechanic run a diagnostic on it. Multiple issues came up. Everything from multiple breaks issues and even more engine issues. Tried several tricks to remove what seemed to be air in the break lines. No chance. Had to towed to a Chevy dealership near by. Break tech ran a diagnostic, said not breaks it’s an engine issue. Engine tech says it “maybe” timing or cam shaft. $2500 on a maybe, best they can tell from the diagnostic. From all the reviews I have read about this very same issue and the guessing game at owners expense. None of these have fixed the issues. While reading the reviews, I read 3 people have died from this very same issue. In addition GM has remove any and all warranty on this vehicle above the 36,000 miles. GM will not take any responsibility for the CHEVY MALIBU death trap which they are fully aware of. No recall, No repair support for the dealership that now is involved with this worthless product. My question for GM IS HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO DIE BEFORE THEY WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT? I say to the CEO OF GM. I want one of your family members to have my car as there daily drive. But wait the engine will not even turn over. Nothing but a paperweight now. To all head honchos at GM I have large car parts the need to be placed were the sun don’t shine. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PRODUCT!!! I will inform every website, social media and any forum possible about your products and your complete lack of ethics.

SHOULD BE A RECALL!

Good day! I have a 2016 Chevy Malibu and my daughter has a 2017 same model. Within the first 2 months of purchase I find it really strange that both of us have had to have the gas pedal replaced due to a sensor malfunction (Purchased cars at different dealers one under warranty one not). Surprised that the one NOT under warranty has the same exact issue one year later! Go figure! I have always purchased Dodges but decided to give Chevy a try-what a huge mistake ESPECIALLY since seeing the number of individuals with the same issue and Chevy is NOT offering recalls! #SHAMEONCHEVY!

Would give zero stars if possible

Chevy is the exact reason why the average consumer sees trash, unreliable, and prone to problems when looking at American made cars. STAY AWAY.

Extremely poor service of Chevrolet in the Philippines

One dealer (Shaw Boulevard, Ortigas) forgot to replace the transmission oil during annual maintenance. When the transmission broke down, it took the other dealer (Chevrolet Makati) 5 days to establish the problem and inform us that it takes one month (!) before spare parts can be delivered from Korea. A loaner car was promised daily but never delivered. Solution: Never buy Chevy in the Philippines.

Equinox engines are junk

Our 2012 equinox has been serviced on a regular basis and had 40000 miles when the timing chain broke.$1800.00 later I called Chevrolet Customer service and attempted to present my story to a rep whom I could barely understand. She seemed to have little time for me and my problem. She denied any help.Ihave resolved not to buy any more Chevrolet products which is unfortunate since both of our fathers retired from GM.
