I have never been contacted or sent a letter or called. I talked to a young guy at Hank Graff and he said that GM extended the warranty on the 6 cylinder transmission but not this one.
GM never contacted me or send a letter or called or anything.I just think this company should take some responsibility
- It is not a bad car and there are allot on the road
- Hank graff dealership people are helpful
- 2010 chevy malibu had a rebuilt transmission put in it
- 2010 malibu needed engine replaced the timing chain
- Transmission faulty and also timing chains

User's recommendation: These malibu's are not bad cars, but I wouldn't buy a used one unless I knew the transmission was replaced

User's recommendation: Not with Chevrolet letting Dealership jacking up prices on hard-working American people and saying it's because of inflation. Well they're not the only ones that has inflation every American person after is feeling the hit from it and I don't think that you need to be jacking up your prices to make more money off of working people. Unfortunately our wages don't go up with this inflation.
Management in service *** and rude
Costs on bill , waiting on reply from the general manager! Miss diagnosed problem correctly the first time e,had to bring back with same issue , was told something different and more costly.
Left message for customer relations service person never to be called back. So I sent email to complain to gm. The. I got a internet manager called and I asked to leave message for head service manager , which he never received.
Ended up going back to talk to the guy and was talked over and dude was extremely *** and rude! As a former employee and customer and my father in law retired from gm we felt taken for a cost!y ride..yes I yelled and cussed I'm pissed off!

Transmission went bad on my 2019 Colorado. Instead of replacing the transmission they decided to rebuild it with the same results as when I 1st took it in.
After rebuilding it the tranny still did the same thing. I was told by the advisor that they were rebuilding instead of replacing because it was CHEAPER. Very poor thing to tell a customer.
I did not buy a $35,000 truck for them to rebuild things when they go bad. Truck is still under factory warranty with only 39000 miles.
Transmissions are on backorder and they have no idea when they will get one. I am making payments on a truck that I cannot use.
I am a very unhappy Chevy customer!!!
Preferred solution: Compensation for time spent in shop and maybe some future discount consideration on service.

GMC response to my situation:
Unfortunately, being that the parts involved in the repair were from a third-party, we would not be able to provide any cost assistance towards repairs as we cannot guarantee the quality of the parts that were installed.
My situation as explained in text:
We are not asking for any help with the parts that were purchased to install. What we were asking for is compensation for the original GM parts that went bad and needed to be replaced in the first place.
The amount that we paid that I already told you about does not include the cost of the new seals.
It only includes labor and the cost of replacing the fluid.
I also had no idea whether the new seals are GM original parts or not I just purchased the parts as I was told and had them replaced.
Ive also been told that this problem usually occurs due to manufacturing flaw.
As I said in my first conversation, I have pancreatic cancer. My husband recently had a heart attack and was flown by helicopter. The expenses are horrendous! We are simply seeking some compassionate help as we are so close to warranty.
I am surprised I am being met with this technicality and given more to worry about.
I have not posted the entire text conversation. But the guy was rude and heartless. I was in tears by the end of the conversation.
My comment:
$400 means very little to a billion dollar company. For us it means badly needed treatment and peace of mind as I fight to live.
It concerns me where our world is going today.
So sad!
He did no respond to my last comment. I did offer to send proof of our medical situation.

My daughter has purchased a2018 Chevrolet Trax 1.4 liter and she has been having problems with stabil track and the car stalling it has a little over 50,000 miles now still having the problem . We have replaced multiple sensors and spark plugs o2 sensors and so on as far as Im concerned this should be repaired under a warranty she had the car to Troy Allen Chevrolet to have the thing checked the issue never resolved.
She in on her own with 2 children and is dependent on this car , it always does the cutting out thing and running rough at intersections it seems and one of these times Im afraid there is going to be a bad accident. I would like someone to address this issue because to keep chasing the problem with sensors and improper diagnosis is ridiculous!!
