The gal I spoke with didn’t make me feel secure in getting a positive outcome

Original review Jan 03, 2023
I wanted black wheels on my car, so I asked for black wheels like I seen on another vehicle, not knowing I was looking at a used car and they would put those on my car, nor was I told it was used. Than I was charged at least 1,000 for used tires that had cheap plastic black hub caps.

Lack of customer care and poor engineering

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The brakes on my Silverado will not bleed properly due to a very poor design and location of the ABS unit. Air is trapped in the unit with no bleed nipple. I know why this is happening and have found my own solution but GM Engineering needs to go back to school and learn very BASIC fluid mechanics.

AC out 2020 blazer

Chevrolet - AC out 2020 blazer
Chevrolet - AC out 2020 blazer - Image 2

I currently own two 2020 Chevy Blazer's.

I also have a 2020 Silverado.

In the past We have owned a Tahoe, several impalas, cruze and 2 traverse's.

I am upset about one of the Blazers.

at 38,000 miles right outside of warranty should the AC blow out? We replaced it and it was working fine.

Now on the passenger side it blows real cold and the drivers side its hot even set at lowest temperature. At 42,000 miles I have put more money in this SUV then any other cars I have owned. Does not seem right. This is my 23 year old daughters first Chevy purchase and she wants to go back to a Honda because she never put money into that old car she said.

I told Castriota Chevy located in Hudson Florida and they did not seem to care. Her is the picture of the AC unit.

She started the car we heard a loud pop. AC gone.

My concern is the other blazer has 34,000 miles is it gonna do the same thing?

Yes we bought all 3 on the same day

The black one is the issue.

Service at Rydell Chevrolet

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I made an 11:20 am appointment on November 8th for brake service at Rydell Chevrolet in Northridge Ca.

Upon arrival I was told that they had at least 15 other vehicles ahead of me and that I would have to leave the vehicle with them for about 3 days in order to get the diagnosis done, then they would try to get me in the shop.

How can you even make me an appointment, if you cannot service me on that day?

This is not the kind of response I would expect from a quality service department.

Needless to say I did not stay and I'm looking for service elsewhere.

What a waste of my time due to your dealers lack of communication and scheduling!

No response to obvious flaw in their production of parts. A bland “On back order” & “No release date” response via parts distributor is not acceptable when it means you cannot use your car with no sol

A part that has been on back order for months with no release date meaning no clue when you can properly use your car again. No face behind the responses. A very difficult company to communicate with.

The first module was replaced things went well til May, check engine light kept coming on dealership ordered 2nd module promised delivery 1st week of June. Now almost end of October still not fixed. I was dealing with customer complaint but I dont seem to be able to get a return call after 5 different voice mails. How do I get my truck fixed or replaced because of obvious subpar parts. Classic Chevy failed to diagnosis my problem

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Chevrolet - Classic Chevy failed to diagnosis my problem
Updated by user Sep 10, 2022

BBB in Greater Houston also had no luck with my issue. GM states the dealer is locally owned and operated and GM can not help either.

Original review Aug 11, 2022
I am disabled and tool my 2018 Buick Regal Tour to the dealer 3 times for a problem with the battery not holding a charge after being replaced times two. In March they replaced a back up battery and then went into the dash to replace an AC aductor panel.

The problem then escalated and eventualy the AC compresor and alternator were replaced. The problem became worse and the AAA person who came each time to my house stated a circuit or something is being left on and draining the battery. I had to use a neighbor's AAA card as all of mine were used. All Classic Chevy did was to start and idle the car and stated there was no problem.

I could not use the car to go to critical medical appointments. I asked an independent mechanic what to do and he advised me to contact Lone Star Auto Electric. They found the problem which was intermittent and replaced a wire in the dash that appeared to have been damaged. They then retested and finally had to replace the main computer module.

My extended warranty would not cover as under GM bumper to bumper. I went in person to the dealer and left messages to no avail.

They needed to have a ceritifed Master Techician perform what Lone Star Electric did. I am not convinced that they damaged the wire as how could I enter the dash.

I had a real bad experience at a Chevy dealer buying a used truck

Added on stuff to deal dishonestly, I tried to get rid of stuff, they cancelled some leaving me thinking I got rid of everything. Look over contract later, still had 2400 extra on it, I called and complained they would only give me 1855 back.
