Less than a year into owning my 21 Silverado the tailgate doesn’t work

Being under warranty, I take it to the dealer for repair. They order the part.

Months go by. I call to check status. It came in several weeks ago, and they sold it to someone else. Said they would order another immediately.

That was in August.

Decided I had waited enough and took it to a closer dealership across the line into NC.

Dropped it off Wednesday morning at 8:00 for a 3-4 hours tailgate button replacement repair.

Called at 1:00 PM.

Wasnt done yet but will be by 2:00. I reminded them of my 3:00 PN doctor appointment, and I was assured I would have plenty of time.

When I arrived at 2:30 PM, not only was the truck not ready, but now it no longer runs.

Its now Sunday at 10:30 PM.

How many calls and updates have i received?

Thats how many.

They offered up a loaner vehicle but for some reason I am skeptical that their Prius was going to be capable of towing my 10k trailer.

Timing belt

I need to have my timing belt changed because it keeps ticking and they said it cost me over $1100 to fix and that they have already fixed several cars this year and said that there should be a rebate coming out because a lot of the equinoxes are having this problem

Ordered a Blazer 3LT AWD in December 2021 and didnt get the vehicle until May 12, 2022 and it was missing numerous features such as heated seats, back up collision avoidance and many others! In December 2022 they installed the heated seats but nothing else! After more than 10 calls they still cant give me a date for my remaining already paid for features!

I am rating them 0

My 2021 chevy trailblazer broke down at work. Still under bumper to bumper warranty. Waited 3 hours for a tow Would only tow to local dealership not my dealership. Has been 2 days trying to get a dealer to dealer transfer done. Just keep getting the run around. HORRIBLE TREATMENT OF CUSTOMERS YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED

2018 colorado

i bought a 2018 colorado, brand new in october of 2018. started having tranmission issues shortly after.

took it to dealer. was told that the transmission fluid needed to be replaced with a different transmission fluid. which tells me that the wrong tranmission fluid was put in at the factory. but the service manager at the dealership said that the fluid that was put in at the factory wes the correct fluid but to correct the problem they had to put a different fluid in.

at the end of the day, as far as im concerned, the wrong fluid was put in at the factory. truck ran good for awhile, started acting up. took it back to the dealer. again, was told that the fluid needed to be replaced with a different fluid.

ran good for about 6 or 7 weeks. now its worse than before.back to the dealer tomorrow. have looked into the pa. lemon law.

this vehicle and problem definetly falls within the guidelines of the law. will be providing a copy of this to the dealer service center tomoRrow.

Preferred solution: well according to pa lemon law, i may be entitled to a vehicle replacement vehicle or a refund.

Exceptionally poor service

We learned soon after buying our Chevrolet Volt never to go to the Putnam dealer in Burlingame California. But we had no choice when the charger port stopped communicating with the car and we couldn't charge the battery except by driving on gas in mountain mode.

No non Chevrolet auto shops can deal with the Volt software. Dropped off the car Monday 715am by appointment paid for a $450 diagnostic and heard nothing back all day. Repeated calls to them are answered by a live person but immediately routed to a full voicemail. After frustrations finally convinced the guy answering to let me talk to someone who then said we needed a $500 software update.

Of course they did not start any work saying they needed our approval which they did not try to contact us to get and now it was too late in the day. Next day again heard nothing and same run around with the phone. I can hear groups of people laughing in the background before they switch me to the dreaded full voicemail box again. Two days without a car, no courtesy cars available which isn't surprising at a place with no courtesy.

Basically I can't take it anymore- I'm abandoning the car and riding my bike and train to work. Hate them will never buy a car sold by Chevrolet dealership again!!!

By the way I also had a failed appointment first at the dealer in Redwood City, I arrived and they said they can't do the software work (that I booked) after all on a Friday as the head office support isn't reliable on Fridays.Fridays.That dealer is in the middle of nowhere and also with no courtesy cars, shuttles or transit near.

Trying to help my dying friend

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I don't really know what to say, but I have to say something. My friend Matt has terminal cancer and it kills me knowing I can't do anything to make his final days better.

I talked to him the other day and he was very upset because he's on a list to buy a new corvette and he might not live long enough to get it. He's not a rich man. He owns a restaurant in Chowchilla California. He wasn't born into money and worked hard his whole life.

He saved up his money and decided he wanted his final car to be a new corvette. This was one of the few things to put a smile on his face. He goes through chemotharapy every 2 weeks. It's really hard the first week.

The second week gets a bit better but then he has to do it all over again...for the rest of his short life. I'm not asking for any handouts. I just want him to have his last wish. I know this won't make him live longer.

I just want to see that look on his face starting that dream car. I'm asking you to bump him up the waiting list so he can buy this car. I also don't expect you to believe my story. I would want to verify it.

His name is Matthew Zimmer. His phone number is 559-223-****. He has 2 forms of cancer. Colon cancer and pancreatic cancer.

I don't know how much longer he has but I know that car will let him leave with a feeling of accomplishment. I'm reaching out to the heartbeat of America to put a little rev and happiness in his last heartbeat.

Air conditioner broke

My chevrolet Silverado is a 2015 model. It only has 72.000 miles on it, The A/C quit working about 6 months ago. I took it to the shop today. The condenser has to be replaced costing me around $750.00. I have been told by several mechanics that this is a common problem with this model truck. There should have been a recall on this part. I feel like I should be reimbursed for some of the cost Thank you. Cindy Gill
