My son's car got wrecked a few days before Christmas. After being unemployed for a year, his credit wasn't great anymore, so he went back to the dealer he'd bought his car a couple years before". He had a few thousand cash, and was about to get what we thought was a nice '07 VW Jetta/. It had a cracked side mirror, not problem they said?. Then he signs papers, gives cash and learns there only ONE key|. Extra key will cost over $100 at a VW dealer,. And oh yeah, the mirror won't be fixed/. Not cool since all his cash was in the car deal". It was making a funny noise the next day, so we called a VW dealer who orginally sold it to see if they had service records|. Turns out it needed 2 safety recalls...serious ones. Called the MGR at Finday, he said they'd go over the car, get the recalls done, etc. TOTAL BS!! They did nothing, wouldn't fix the mirror, wouldn't get a key....even though the Finday company owns a VW dealership in town. They were a real rip off!! Moral to story, don't give anyone a dime or sign anything unless the work is done and you have everything!! Carfax is BS, didn't even notice the recalls since VW doesn't submit into!!! 1294926
