I purchased a used (certified) Chevy HHR from a Chevy dealer. After only 30000 miles on the vehicle I ran into major mechanical issues. The car would stall randomly. This stall was a complete shutdown and I would lose power to everything including power brakes and streering. This stall would happen not while I was idling but while I was driving. I stalled turning corners, in intersections and while backing out of my drive way. After bringing it to the dealer to be repaired and having the same issue I brought it to a private mechanic. After replacing cam shaft sensors and spending over $400 the problem appeared again. The final stall almost caused a collision with a bus. I contacted Chevy directly to complain and was told to bring it back to the dealer and pay over $100 to have the car "looked at". I refused stating that I felt complete unsafe driving the vehicle". I was told than that I should contact the marketing department to see about purchasing another Chevy/. That was not an option as I will never own another car made by Chevy?.

The overall quality of the HHR was horrible|. Along with the major issues, pieces of the dash board fell apart,. The front suspension rattled,. This was all with only around 50000 miles on the car". Dealing with Chevy has proved to me what I thought before!. They lack quality and customer service. 1294667

So, in a nutshell, you are complaining about a USED CAR'S quality after 50,000 miles?
